Amy Schumer made her stand-up debut during her 23rd birthday. Though her career was rocky at the start, she became a full-time comedian in a few years because of her hard work and her investments in honing her craft. The comedienne competed in the reality show, Last Comic Standing, but although Amy did not win, the young talent gained significant airtime, which led to being offered to appear in Live at Gotham. She later starred in Inside Amy Schumer, which was released in 2014 and lasted for four seasons.

Her film debut was in Trainwreck, and soon came Snatched, and I Feel Pretty. Aside from being a stand-up comedian and an actress, Schumer also became a published author with her autobiographical called The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo. It easily topped what other comedians earned. Her current net worth is at $25 million but sees positive expectations of rising. To her credit, Schumer is just one of the highest-paid stand-up comics of today.
