Frances McDormand & Joel Coen | Pedro

Frances McDormand and Joel Coen are a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood, but to their son, Pedro, they are simply mom and dad. The couple has been married since 1984 but spent an extended period childless before welcoming Pedro into their lives in 1995. Moreover, the long duration of solitude taught the couple to become more aware of their priorities. As a result, Frances and Joel adopted their son from Paragua when he was only six months old. Since bringing Pedro into their family, both Joel and Frances have been very protective of him.

Occasionally, however, Pedro accompanies his parents on the red carpet to show his support. Frances has also given her son credit for inspiring her heart-wrenching performance for the film, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. Despite this, Pedro has actively avoided the limelight and trekked down a different path. According to sources, the Hollywood offspring is currently a trainer and a massage therapist.
