Nehemiah Persoff | Born 1919
$1.241 Million – Cambria, California
Now retired, Nehemiah Persoff has appeared in more than 200 TV series, plays, and movies. This is not surprising considering his 52-year career. Born in Jerusalem, Persoff’s family contacted the moving company and immigrated to the US in 1929, when he was only ten years old. He then worked in the Army and served during World War II. After the war, he worked as a subway electrician and in 1948; he launched his acting career, starting with supporting roles.
Persoff retired from acting back in 1999 and pursued his passion for painting, specializing in watercolors. He now lives with his wife in Cambria, California. Zillow says that his house measures 1,670 square feet and has two bedrooms and two baths. Estimated to be worth $1.241 million, this Cambria home is the painter’s studio, as making investments in a separate one is unnecessary. It is pretty challenging to imagine someone who played the role of a gangster boss as a painter, right?
