$6.5 Million – Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles

While actors are undoubtedly one of the most popular figures under the spotlight, it would be a disservice not to acknowledge the efforts of the people behind the camera. This, of course, includes filmmakers like Steven Spielberg. Beginning his career in the late ‘50s, Spielberg has since become one of the most recognized figures in the entertainment industry, thanks to his work on projects like ET the Extra-Terrestrial, Schindler’s List, the Indiana Jones movies, Jaws, and Jurassic Park.

With his career showing no signs of running out of gas anytime soon, it’s safe to say the filmmaker is almost always quite busy. Even so, that doesn’t mean he no longer spends some downtime in one of his homes. One such estate is located in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades neighborhood and sits on 3.5 acres of land. Along with a couple of upgrades and renovations, the house now features a vineyard, a pool, a lovely terrace, and even a Hobbit-inspired room.
